Abstract

This study presents an analytical examination of the intellectual system of Allama Iqbal, focusing on the fundamental concepts that shape his philosophical and ideological framework. Iqbal’s thought is not confined to poetry alone; rather, it represents a comprehensive system integrating philosophy, religion, politics, and ethics. The research explores key elements of Iqbal’s intellectual vision, including the concept of Khudi (selfhood), the idea of a dynamic universe, the role of human agency, and his critique of Western materialism. Through a critical and analytical approach, the study highlights how Iqbal reinterprets Islamic thought in response to modern intellectual challenges. The paper also examines the relevance of Iqbal’s ideas in the contemporary world, particularly in relation to identity, freedom, and spiritual renewal. The findings suggest that Iqbal’s intellectual system offers a coherent and progressive framework that encourages self-realization, social responsibility, and moral consciousness, making his thought both timeless and applicable to modern socio-philosophical debates.
