Complaint Policy & Procedure
To ensure customer focus, adherence to ethical guidelines, and transparency in its editorial and publication processes, the Editorial Board of Nastaleeq has established a clear Complaint Policy & Procedure. A dedicated Complaints & Grievances Committee, appointed by the Editorial Board, is responsible for receiving, investigating, and resolving concerns from readers, authors, reviewers, editorial members, or any other stakeholders. Complaints relating to submissions, peer reviews, editorial or publication decisions, conflicts of interest, breaches of ethical standards, or other aspects of the publication process may be submitted in writing via the journal’s official email address, accompanied by relevant details and supporting evidence.
All complaints are acknowledged within three working days, reviewed impartially and confidentially, and, where necessary, discussed in a hearing with the parties involved. The committee strives to provide a written response and resolution within 10–15 working days of acknowledgment, after which its decision is communicated to the complainant; unresolved matters may be referred to the Chief Editor or Editorial Board for final review. Records of complaints and their outcomes are maintained to promote accountability, while periodic analysis of feedback is used to strengthen the journal’s editorial standards and improve overall processes.
